The Pillar No. 14

Positioning for growth

From the CEO's Desk
Over the last ten years, we have together accumulated a great deal of experience. We are wholly convinced that: Low-income women entrepreneurs and producers are the economic actors. Governments, financial institutions, NGOs and funders have important roles.

Banking on low income women entrepreneurs is not only the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do – as an effective means to alleviate poverty, encourage entrepreneurship and reach an emerging growth market.

KWFT Wins the CCA Award for Best Financing
The UN Conference for Women in 1975 may look like a mustard seed in the distance now, the smallest seed in the world that was planted in the ground. Who would have known that it would grow up and become the biggest of all? Who could have foreseen that it would put out larger branches for poor women to make their livelihood in it’s shade?

The CCA President and CEO Stephen Hayes, and CCA U.S. - Africa Business Summit Gala Awards Nominating Committee Chairman Witney Schneidman, congratulated KWFT for its selection as an award recipient.
